I miss my extended family. We usually host a bunch of folks for Thanksgiving.
Not this year.
I miss my friends, too. I can’t remember the last time I went out for dinner and drinks. 2020 has been a rough one for relationships.
The latest data on remote work shows that people are working longer hours than ever. No, dear micromanagers, people aren’t slacking off at home. They are working too much.
I know that many of us are over-scheduled. Our calendars are full of work meetings, tasks, and other appointments.
But how many of those are for you? Not your employer. Not someone else. For you?
Today, I posted a short article about how important it is to schedule time on your calendar for things that matter to you. Yes, I keep some to-do lists too. But, I’ve found that many items never move from “do” to “done.” I end up carrying them forward for a long, long time (sometimes years).
